Gallegos, who built Select New Mexico on a simple promise: to connect local producers with those who demand the "real thing." Robert’s dedication established the brand as a trusted bridge between the fields of Hatch and the tables of the Rocky Mountains, creating a legacy of quality that remains our North Star.

A Decade of Growth: The Flagship & 505 Era

In 2018, the brand entered a transformative period when it was acquired by Flagship Food Group and 505 Southwestern. This transition provided the resources and platform to take these authentic flavors to new heights.

For Manuel Aragon, this era was defining. Having started with the company under Robert Gallegos in May 2015, 2018 forward Manuel Aragon grew alongside the business during its time with Flagship. Serving in multiple leadership roles over seven years, he gained an invaluable "big picture" perspective on the industry. This journey was made possible by the mentorship and support of the leadership at Flagship and 505 Southwestern—a partnership that continues to be a cornerstone of the brand’s success today.

The Torch is Passed

In September 2025, the story came full circle. With the continued support and partnership of Flagship Food Group, Manuel Aragon purchased the Select New Mexico brand launching Aragon Distribution LLC.

Having been involved with the brand for over a decade, Manuel isn't just the new owner; he is a steward of its history. He combines the foundational values learned from Robert J. Gallegos with the sophisticated business expertise honed at Flagship to lead Select New Mexico into its next chapter.
